Kulite has officially achieved the prestigious FIA 3-Star Environmental Accreditation, marking a major sustainability milestone for the company. To secure the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile’s highest sustainable honor, Kulite underwent a rigorous, independent external audit evaluating 17 distinct criteria. The certification acknowledges the company’s implementation of a robust Environmental Management System (EMS) designed to monitor, track, and consistently reduce its operational footprint. By earning the 3-Star status, Kulite cements its position as a forward-thinking supplier capable of helping elite racing championships and teams achieve their collective net-zero carbon goals.

This milestone builds directly on Kulite’s recent ISO 14001 certification. Kulite established a comprehensive EMS which was audited for ISO 14001 compliance in November 2025. Following a detailed 5-day audit by a nationally accredited body, the auditor recommended Kulite for certification. Following a final review with the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), Kulite was officially issued its certification on January 2, 2026. The external auditor noted that they were particularly impressed by the knowledgeable employees interviewed during the process and the extensive, active participation by Kulite’s Executive-Level management.

ISO 14001 is the definitive international standard that sets out the requirements for an effective environmental management system. It provides a structured framework to help organizations improve their environmental performance through the efficient use of resources, reduction of waste, and minimization of footprints, while gaining a competitive advantage and the trust of key industry stakeholders.

Underpinning both the ISO certification and the FIA 3-Star Accreditation is Kulite’s core Environmental Policy. This policy dictates that all Kulite employees share the responsibility to provide products and services in a sustainable manner that complies with applicable regulatory and environmental standards. To turn this policy into actionable results, Kulite has established evolving environmental objectives including regulatory compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations; emissions reduction; audit excellence; and employee education. We have made proactive changes to our operations with the intention of reducing our environmental footprint with work practices to conserve water and energy and reduce waste including hazardous materials.
