Airflow Transducer – Model 6333
Its precise low-velocity response makes it well suited for automotive ECU thermal management, electronic-component heat evaluation, cooling-system development, and other applications where small changes in airflow can affect product performance.
Key Capabilities
• Air-velocity measurement from 0.01 to 50.0 m/s, depending on the selected probe
• Fifteen interchangeable probe options for different measurement requirements and installation spaces
• Available measurement of air velocity, temperature, and humidity with compatible probes
• Switchable 4–20 mA current or 0–5 V voltage output
• RS485 digital communication for system integration
• Compact body measuring approximately 100 × 60 × 25 mm
• Improved probe response for detecting low air velocities beginning at 0.01 m/s
• External 12–24 VDC power option for integration into test equipment
Flexible Probe Selection
The Model 6333 supports miniature, needle, spherical, angled, flat, and multidirectional probe configurations. Depending on the probe selected, users can measure air velocity alone, air velocity and temperature, or air velocity, temperature, and humidity.
This flexibility allows engineers to position sensors near ECUs, electronic components, air outlets, cooling paths, and other confined measurement points where conventional probes may be too large.
Automotive Applications
• ECU and automotive-electronics thermal management
• Electronic-component cooling evaluation
• Airflow monitoring inside test equipment
• HVAC and ventilation research
• Continuous airflow monitoring and process control
• Integration with data loggers, controllers, and automated test systems
The Model 6333 combines a compact footprint, versatile probe selection, and flexible output options to provide dependable airflow data for demanding automotive research and development applications.
