On-board Multi-camera head system MX for Automotive safety testing
The On-board Multi-Camera Head System is designed to capture synchronized high-speed images from multiple viewpoints during demanding automotive safety tests. The compact and robust camera head can be installed inside or around the vehicle to provide comprehensive coverage of critical test areas that are difficult to capture with conventional fixed-camera setups.
Key Applications
- Crash Testing — Capturing vehicle deformation, structural intrusion, and crash dynamics from multiple angles during frontal, side, rear, and offset crashes.
- Occupant Kinematics Analysis — Recording the movement of crash dummies, including head, torso, and limb motion, to evaluate occupant protection performance.
- Airbag Deployment Testing — Capturing the complete airbag deployment process, including inflation, expansion, contact, and interaction with the occupant.
- Seat Belt Testing — Monitoring seat belt movement, pretensioner activation, belt loading, and occupant restraint behavior during impact.
- Vehicle Interior Safety Testing — Recording interactions between occupants and interior components such as the steering wheel, dashboard, seats, doors, and instrument panel.
- Side Impact Testing — Capturing door intrusion, side structure deformation, and occupant movement from multiple synchronized viewpoints.
- Pedestrian Protection Testing — Recording pedestrian or dummy impacts with the hood, bumper, windshield, and other vehicle structures.
- EV Battery Safety Testing — Monitoring battery pack deformation, mechanical damage, component displacement, and safety-related events during vehicle crash tests.
- Rollover Testing — Capturing vehicle motion, roof deformation, occupant movement, and restraint performance during rollover events.
- ADAS Safety Testing — Recording vehicle and object interactions during emergency braking, collision avoidance, and other advanced driver assistance system tests.
- Vehicle-to-Vehicle Collision Testing — Providing synchronized multi-angle footage of vehicle interaction, impact dynamics, and structural deformation.
- Component-Level Safety Testing — Evaluating the dynamic behavior and failure mechanisms of seats, steering systems, doors, bumpers, dashboards, and other safety components.
