Pickering Interfaces’ 40/42-161A-101 is a high-density PXI/PXIe power relay module designed for switching demanding AC and DC loads in automotive test and verification systems. Featuring 12 SPDT electromechanical power relays, the module can switch currents up to 16 A and voltages up to 300 VDC or 250 VAC.

Ideal for high-power automated test applications, the 40/42-161A can switch heavy loads or control external relays, contactors and solenoids. Its modular architecture makes it easy to integrate high-current switching alongside other PXI switching, simulation and instrumentation products within a scalable automotive test system.

The 40/42-161A family is available in multiple SPST and SPDT configurations, with optional hardware interlock. PXI versions can be installed in either PXI or Pickering LXI modular chassis, providing additional flexibility for benchtop, distributed and rack-based test systems.
