VULCAN Compact 4x4 is a four-wheel independent chassis
dynamometer designed for electric vehicle testing. By controlling each tire
independently, the system supports the evaluation of four-wheel independent
control, regenerative control and torque-vectoring technologies.
The system provides differential rotation and differential
torque control between the front and rear and left and right sides. Torque at
each axle can be measured separately, while low inertia per axle and fast
acceleration support braking and tire-friction evaluations.
Its installation area is equivalent to that of a
conventional chassis dynamometer. The compact design allows installation in
existing facilities without modification or new construction, while in-house
assembly and delivery help minimize downtime.
