Thomas Achatz, PE, holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Tom’s engineering experience includes 34+ years at General Motors in product assurance. At GM, Tom led a team responsible for developing test methods and requirements and validating components. Tom has published and presented many technical papers. Currently, Tom is a Product Development/Validation Consultant for Vibration Research.
