Thomas Achatz, PE, holds BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MS in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Achatz’s engineering experience includes 34+ years at General Motors in product assurance. At GM, he led a team responsible for developing test methods and requirements and validating components. Achatz has published and presented many technical papers. He is currently a product development/validation consultant for Vibration Research.
