This presentation will focus on the left-shifting paradigm with software-in-the-loop testing to enable earlier testing without physical hardware. It will cover various techniques for generating a system under test (SUT) for different application types including conventional AUTOSAR/OSEK-based virtual ECUs to Posix- and HPC-based systems with SOCs, creation of simulation system containers, integration of plant model and bus simualtion artifacts, testing methods and automated regression testing in the cloud, as well as utilization of CI/CT techniques to optimize efficiency in building pipelines and automated testing.
