Environmental Testing Services at High Altitude, Sea Level and Extreme Temperatures
TRP is equipped with a comprehensive group of laboratories capable of testing under extreme environmental conditions. Our TRP Rocky Mountain Test Center is especially unique, as it’s located in Empire, CO. at 9,000 feet above sea level.
Testing Facilities (at sea-level)
- Altitude simulation capable of testing 0 to 12,000 ft. (3660 m) above sea level
- Temperature range from -37°C to 49°C, maintaining -20°C with a 4000HP engine running inside
- Large format test cells 55’L x 22’W x 28’H
- Bay doors measure 20’W x 18’H
- 5-ton overhead crane in each cell
Testing Facility (at high-altitude)
- TRP’s Rocky Mountain Test Center in Empire, Colorado, offers high altitude and cold temperature testing
- 9,000 ft. (2,750m) above sea level
- Large format 50 ft. x 20 ft. test chambers
- Temperatures as low as -22°F (-30°C).
