Herbert Hänchen GmbH is a German manufacturer of one of the largest test actuator ranges on
the market. The Servoseal® actuator contains a dynamically sealing
synthetic ring made of carbon. It prevents excessive pressure build-up on the
sealing surface due to hydraulic pressure. At small amplitudes, no wear and no
scoring is produced on the counterfaces due to lack of lubrication.
This offers users the possibility to choose a cost-effective and extremely powerful alternative to known actuator brands. With these servo actuators you can realize testing tasks with small amplitudes and frequencies up to 25 Hz, low side loads and long strokes. And all this with all the advantages mentioned: low friction, low wear and no leakage or functional oil as with the gap seals. This safes costs and can also increases achievable dynamics.
