The Rion NL-X3 is a Class I Sound Level Meter designed for a wide range of tasks ranging from basic noise measurements to advanced noise analysis. Each NL-53 is equipped with a color LCD touch screen, making it easy to operate for the first time. Each unit also features a waterproof mechanism to reduce malfunctions caused by sudden rainfall or unexpected exposure to water. A LAN communication terminal enables control of the NL-53 and acquisition of measurement data from a web browser, making it possible to manage measurements from a remote location. Measurement start triggers can be defined based on level exceedances, time, or external triggers using a trigger input cable. Advanced triggers of audio (.WAV) recordings, 1/1 and 1/3 octave band analysis, and FFT analysis can be done using optional extension programs.
