ProCap 3.2, the latest version of the industry-leading ProCap aerodynamics 3D flow measurement and visualization system, offers a suite of powerful new features aimed at enhancing data visualization, streamlining workflow and delivering a highly intuitive user interface.

ProCap 3.2 Professional now features surface flow maps. Introducing surface projections enables real-time mapping of measured data such as velocity and static pressure directly onto model surfaces. This new feature provides deeper insight into flow characteristics and significantly enhances analytical capabilities.

Developed based on user feedback, the new interface is fast, fluid and fully interactive. Users can now preview changes instantly and make reversible adjustments for a more efficient and intuitive setup experience. It is available for both the Compact and the Professional version.

Enhanced data analysis tools include adjustable transparency for model geometries and iso surfaces, as well as improved line rendering for streamlines. These enhancements allow users to better interpret complex flow fields and streamline configurations.

New workflow features include simplified model positioning to enable models to be positioned easily using relative coordinates; setup cloning – clone previous setups as templates for new measurements to save time and reduce errors; and advanced probe and data handling.

ProCap 3.2 improves data handling with active COM-port listings, user-defined thresholds on incoming data, and enhanced options for appending data to stored files, and is now available for download. Find out more about what it can do at the expo.
